Buzzcapture’s servers continuously monitor the online landscape, harvesting blogs, forums and micro-blogs such as Twitter for interesting insights and trends. Buzzcapture collects and analyses information for our customers, including Disney, ING, Nuon, KPN and PostNL. Presenting this vast amount of data and allowing our customers to effectively navigate and interact with it is part of our daily development challenge.

We are looking for a passionate Front Ender to join our small and informal team and work on our visualization tools. Someone to help make them even better and more beautiful. We are looking for developers who love their work. Work experience is of course important, but we believe that being smart, working hard and enthusiasm are a better recipe for success.

We are look for someone who:

• Breathes CSS and HTML, knows what’s on the road map for CSS3 but also can make things work in IE.
• Knows that JavaScript is a programming language in its own right and masters it as such.
• Keeps up to date with the JavaScript community and the tools it provides, for example – jQuery, jQuery UI, Raphael.js, etc.
• Understands that the client side cannot operate alone but is part of an equal partnership with the server. Someone who is not afraid of building server-side services for the client side to use.
• Has proven experience, either professional or as a hobby.
• Has a feeling for visual elegance that is still effective to use.
• Experience with Django and/or Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of SASS / Compass is also a plus.
